NOC Hosts Medicaid Benefits Workshop

Women and children at the Oaks gathered at the Community Center on April 7 to learn about Medicaid benefits. The presentation was designed to assist families in the neighborhood in understanding and taking advantage of Medicaid benefits for their children, and to help them fill out the necessary forms to obtain Medicaid benefits. The project was implemented in partnership with Select Health. Jeannette Narvaez from Select Health conducted the workshop. Mothers who attended gained knowledge about Medicaid benefits and received assistance in filling out the forms.
