This course will improve the English language skills in listening, reading, and speaking by building basic vocabulary, learning grammatical concepts, as well as covering various idiomatic expressions useful in everyday conversation.  Upon successful completion of this course,  students will be able to comprehend intermediate English, and use it in everyday situations. They will be able to name many familiar objects, be familiar with numbers, tell time, and be comfortable in various common situations (such as shopping, visits to the doctor, and social encounters). They will be able to read and comprehend English on an intermediate level. They will improve their pronunciation and better understand various tense formations.

Students will:

• Develop proficiency skills in reading, understanding, and speaking English


• Improve their knowledge of English grammar


• Increase their knowledge of idiomatic expressions
